Dundalk Area Parks  |  Waterfront & Marinas  |  Rec. Councils & Activities

To the surprise of some, Dundalk is graced by over 320 acres of parkland and over 60 miles of waterfront for residents and visitors to enjoy.  You can walk with your child to a playground where you can also feed the swans, geese, and ducks by the water.  You can play softball or cultivate tomatoes in a community garden while your girlfriend rollerblades around a pond in the same park.   You can hang out with friends at a waterfront restaurant before or after a day of sailing or hiking.

Our Parks, all within 20 minutes of each other, include small strolling parks with bandstands, vast natural areas, playgrounds and ball fields, scenic ponds and walking trails, and public boat launches and fishing piers. 

Dundalk's Waterfront includes marinas, public boat launches, fishing piers, magnificent waterfront homes, and several acres with public access.

Recreation Councils in Dundalk involve numerous volunteers devoted to creating effective programs for children and adults to enjoy.  Go to them to sign up for a baseball or basketball team, youth wrestling, the soccer league, the camera club, nature programs, or other activities.
