CCBC-Dundalk provides a path to success for all of us. It’s there for the taking!
Since 1957, CCBC has provided accessible, affordable, high-quality education, empowering thousands of area residents to improve their lives. The 280+ degree, certificate and workplace certification programs prepare students for job entry and career advancement, while they enjoy huge tuition savings and guaranteed transfer to University of Maryland system schools.
CCBC is nationally recognized as a leader in innovative learning strategies, among the nation’s top associate degree producers, and is designated as a Military Times Best College 2018.
In all, CCBC has over 200 associate degree and certificate programs to choose from, so it’s possible to be job-ready in just 2 years with an associate degree and less than 1 year with a certificate. CCBC also has transfer agreements with numerous colleges and universities for a seamless transition. Good to know – if a course you’re taking is on another campus, a free shuttle service is offered to get you there and back.
Although CCBC has 6 locations, Dundalk is one of three full-service campuses, offering easy access to a wide array of coursework, signature gardens, amazing community theater, and an observatory. The Childcare Center and Health/Life Fitness Complex are for students and faculty; residents may participate for reasonable rates. Also specific to the Dundalk Campus – the Dental Assistant program, which may be completed in just 20 weeks, and Sustainable Horticulture, an Associate of Applied Science program.
The CCBC School of Justice has academic partnerships with the Baltimore County Police Department, the Maryland Transportation Authority Police Academy, and the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services for the Entry Level Correctional Training Program. College credits are earned while attending these academies and completing the Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commissions mandated objectives.
